Our commitment
Quality & environment at Luxinar
Quality management
Production to the highest standard
Quality is not a checkpoint at the end of our production line. It runs through every step, from the components we source to the lasers we ship.
Luxinar’s production sites in Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States are certified to ISO 9001:2015. This certification reflects an international consensus on effective quality management practices.
We aim to exceed customer expectations. Constant improvement and quality management are central to finding solutions that genuinely meet our customers’ needs. Through systematic detection and analysis, we strive to ultimately prevent defects in all our products and processes.
Environmental benefit
A more responsible way to produce
Our lasers help customers reduce the environmental impact of their own production processes. That is not a side effect. It is part of what the technology does.
- CO₂ laser coders replace inkjet printing in packaging and labelling, eliminating ink, solvents, and empty cartridges in one step.
- Direct product marking removes the need for additional labels or secondary packaging altogether.
- In the fashion industry, laser finishing of denim cuts chemical and water use dramatically compared to traditional bleaching and stonewash processes.
- Laser cutting minimizes raw material waste compared to conventional machining methods.
The environmental benefit is built into the technology itself.
Our facility in Hull
A green place to work
In 2016, Luxinar moved into a purpose-built manufacturing facility at the Bridgehead Business Park in Hull, designed with environmental considerations built in from the start.
The facility was equipped with the latest machinery to optimize laser source production. Lean-Kanban strategies are applied across the production floor, reducing waste, shortening lead times, and creating a flexible environment that responds to customer requirements without compromising output.
The site includes a woodland area with a nature trail managed by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, providing habitat for local wildlife and visited regularly by school groups and staff.
We have invested in a range of measures to reduce our own CO₂ footprint:
- Solar panels on the roof generate a portion of our own electricity.
- Process water heats the factory in winter; ambient temperature cools it in summer.
- Full LED lighting across the facility, sensor-controlled to prevent unnecessary energy use.
- EV charging points on site.
- A cycle to work program, with shower facilities for employees who cycle, walk, or run to work.
We are continuously working to optimize our processes and reduce waste, not as a one-time initiative, but as part of how we run the business.
