About Christoph Wunderling
Christoph Wunderling is Product Manager for nanosecond and femtosecond lasers at Luxinar, combining market and application knowledge with a strong focus on advanced laser processes in the semiconductor, microelectronics and electromobility industry.
Previously, he worked as a research affiliate at the Technical University of Munich, where his work centered on laser macro-processing in automotive and aerospace sectors. During his PhD thesis, he enabled metal-polymer direct joints by laser-based pre-processing of the metal interface which opened new possibilities for lightweight & hybrid material designs.
By combining scientific research, product development, and close collaboration with machine manufacturers, system integrators, and industrial end-users, Christoph bridges the gap between deep technical expertise and a thorough understanding of industrial requirements.
As a speaker at specialist events and industry forums, he frequently shares his insights on laser applications within the microelectronics and semiconductor sectors.
